Can not delete apps on iPad iOS 14
I can’t delete apps from my iPad. When I get jiggle there is no ‘X’ to click. I can’t do it in settings. I deleted everything and restored from a backup. No help. There must be something really simple I’m missing.

The real reason for being unable to delete Apps is a misconfiguration of your ScreenTime settings. To properly resolve this issue, you simply need to alter one of your ScreenTime restrictions:
Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps - ensure that this permission is set to Allow
