iPad keyboard docking

My iPad keyboard is undocked and when I touch and hold the keyboard icon no choices to dock appear. I have done a hard reset that didn't help. I am running ios 14.3. Ideas?

keyboard moved Keyboard on my 12.9 iPad pro moved to the middle of my screen. I can't see what I'm typing. I read to hold down the keyboard down button and then choose dock. When I hold the button down nothing happens. Help please

Thanks. I installed 14.4 yesterday but it didn't solve the problem. No idea what to try next.
