My macbook pro shows flash storage ins specs although it should have ssd

Hi, I bought a Macbook Pro 16'' last year, and although it should be impossible, it shows that storage is flash and not SSD (image attached).

Not sure if I this is because I synced it with my previous one (that does have a flash storage hard drive) or what would be the reason otherwise.

external storage not showing I'm on an M1 Macbook Pro that's running Ventura 13.1. Before I updated to Ventura I was able to check the amount of storage on my computer AND and all of the external drives I had plugged in just by clicking the Apple logo (top left of screen) and clicking "storage". I have to go through "General" now to get to the same storage option, but it only shows my computer's storage and none of the external hard drives I have hooked up. Where did this feature go? I've tried a google search to find an answer and have had zero luck- hence me reaching out on here. I need this feature to compare how much space I have left on each drive.

Flash storage = SSD.

You are welcome. Yeah, it is simply a different name for the same type of storage.
