Thanks for the link. What I wanted to determine is what is the criteria for being a compatible headphone. Is it that the headphone uses Bluetooth 5.0 or is it some other spec that Apple has incorporated that prevents nonApple headphones from being used?

Apple and Beats headphones and earbuds are the supported brands at this time.
