iPhone vs ipad

Hi, I use iphone and ipad with same account and I receive my messages to my ipad too, how can I turn off this sync? Thx

Yes, you can explicitly disable this functionality.


On your iPhone:

Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding - set to OFF - or if other devices should continue to sync” with Messages, explicitly disable your iPad from the list of devices.


On your iPad:

Ensure that Messages in iCloud is disabled:

Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > Messages - set to OFF
