possible scam/extortion

So I received one of those emails yesterday threatening me to release video of me naked if I don't send $1500. in bitcoin. They claim to have hacked my iPhone camera. I thought it couldn't be hacked?? I have no intention of sending any money but it made me wonder if that is actually possible. Can you please advise me?? TIA.
