How do I change the MAC address on my MacBook Pro?
I have a 2019 MacBook Pro and I've read in a lot of places there are terminal commands to do it but none of them have worked.
MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 11.1

Whoever wrote that was wrong. Or you misunderstood. The only way to completely change the MAC address would be to get a new network card.
If you're worried about being tracked, get rid of any cellular devices you have.
The real reason is my stepdad is an ******* and likes to randomly pause my WiFi during school and it's not funny. My mom is at work and she can't do anything about it and I read that if you change your virtual MAC address it tricks the Xfinity WiFi into thinking it's a different device.

Keep Away from Performing that:
What you are asking about is what hackers do — So, stay away from being a hacker, and have respect for everyone out there. Just saying.
The MAC address is assigned when the device is being built; there is no way to change it.
Out of curiosity: why would you want or need to change it? It is a unique identifier.
MAC addresses are hard-coded into the network card. You can't change them.
To prevent tracking. But I've read online that there are commands to change them one-time in the software.
I'm sorry but what you have is not a technology problem but a family problem.
Best of luck.
