Why doesn’t my alarm on my iphone ever sound?

Hello everybody, I’ve had this issue ever since I’ve been using the alarm on my iPhone or Apple Watch. Half of the time it doesn’t even go off and I can see it’s been working on my home screen but it never makes a single sound.. does anyone else have this issue?

Why isn’t my Alarm Sound Working?? iPhone 11 I rely heavily upon my alarm on my iPhone. My husband got me the new iPhone 11 and the alarm will sound a few times, but mostly it just shows the alarm banner up top, as if it’s “going off”, but NO SOUND is coming out?? I had an iPhone 8 Plus previously. Loved it. Unless I get help with this, I’m giving up. I’m the only Apple user left in my household. Please help me!! These alarms are super IMPORTANT for me to function and live a healthy life (use alarms for medications and appointments). Need some real help! I’ve been googling all day. Nothing’s working. Help please!!!

Alarm randomly doesn’t sound. I see banner but no sound Occurs with several sounds, birdsong and radar. Not a volume issue. As it may sound at first, I snooze and it sounds the second time. Later-when I’m not near my phone it sounds again. Is there a feature that silence the alarm if I’m holding it?

Your alarm won’t go off if your iPhone is on silent. 99% of the time that’s what causes this issue for people.

Make sure the mute switch on the upper left of your phone isn’t red.

Also, make sure your ringer volume is loud enough for you to hear, and that you actually have a sound set to go off in the first place.
