I cannot find my voicemail on my phone, and it does not give me the option to turn it on. I was told from my job that they had left me a voicemail but I do not know where to check, and then siri tells me that they cannot help me

So when you tap on the Phone icon you don’t see this?
You need to contact your carrier, as they control voicemail. Open the phone app; you should see Voicemail in the bottom menu on the right. When you tap on it what do you see?

Please open the Phone app and post a screen shot. I have never seen any iPhone that does not have a voicemail button; it’s possible you don’t actually have an iPhone.
That’s really interesting. Can you retrieve voicemail by calling your own number? Have you asked your carrier why voicemail isn’t working?
