Missing AirPod Case

I am missing my AirPods case. I can't get the serial number for the case in the bluetooth information and I no longer have the box. Do AirPods cases have the same serial number? I want to buy the replacement case but no longer have the serial number. What do I do?

How to replace airpods pro case without serial? I have lost the case for my airpods pro and need to replace it. Made an appointment with the "genius" bar but they said they cannot help me without the serial number and they have no way to get the serial number other than on the case itself or the original packaging, so they said they cannot help.
