Lost my iphone today or had it stolen at work. I can call it and it rings but says offline when I try to locate it in find my phone. Is there anything I can try to locate the iPhone

It may be the phone itself isn't ringing, it is the carrier just sending a ringing signal but the phone isn't receiving it.
If it is offline there is nothing you can do but hope it comes online again.
