Default browser for “Look up”?

I changed my default browser, works great. However, anytime I select text and choose ‘Look up’ (instead of Copy or Paste) and then choose ‘Search web’ my iPhone opens the Safari browser to do the search. How do I change this?

Hi there speedy386,

Thanks for the post! As we understand it, you've set a different web browser as your default and it works in most cases, but when you "Look Up" text and "Search Web," it still opens Safari; is that right?

We tested this out and see the same results, so this looks like it may be normal behavior. With that in mind, you can always send feedback directly to Apple using this link: Product Feedback

Kindest regards.
