Microsoft Word and Excel not opening up now we have upgraded to Big Sure

Hi everyone,

I upgraded to Big Sur last week on my Macbook Air.

My excel (version 16.43) and word (16.37) now won't open and I don't get any error message.

I've checked the get info area and the apps aren't locked.

This is so annoying as they were working before the upgrade!

Hi there,

First, try restarting the Mac. If it still does not work, you may have to contact Microsoft, the developer, or check for software updates to the apps.
