Which version of GarageBand do you have? In GarageBand 10.4.2 it is possible. If you create a new GarageBand project and drag your AAC file into the Track area, you can export the project as WAV file. Use the Share menu and select "File to disk". Keep the project ready for further conversions.I 'm not sure, if you can do it already in the earlier GarageBand versions. GarageBand 10.4.2 requires macOS 11 Big Sur.

Hi leonie, I have the 10.4.2 version. Thanks for your reply, I've already discovered that I can share to disk, but does that mean cd?? Because there are two options, Burn to cd or burn to disk?? Maybe I'm missing something here. Disc? what disc? I've shared the song to disc but I can't find out where this goes? I've shared to cd before, which works but means I have to waste a cd just to change the file? I would like to share it to my iTunes or to a folder so I can send the track onto a company that requires a wav file. I presume Disc & Cd are the same thing, if so i still have to burn to cd? Any help would be gratefully received!
