Can Siri open the lock screen

If you’re unable to pickup the phone is voice control able to assist?

Yes I understand the dilemma. If I remember correctly my razer phone on android nine with Google voice assistant could open the lock screen to the Home Screen. I know voice manipulation is easy but with apple being apple, I have to wonder when? Thanks for the clarification.

I don’t think they will open that up any time soon. Most people will go for FaceID.

I have a iphone 7 with touchID but it is unreliable with older fingers and damp fingers

Passcode is unbreakable. Once in the phone the bad guy has access to all your unprotected apps like email, whatsapp, contacts, calendar, your health data, DOB, Notes...

No. The padlock is open so maybe that’s the thing. Because that’s so I wanted it to do was open the phone. So maybe that is the confusion. I tried with the black screen and no luck but was finally able to open the phone while the y was set down.
