Restoring voicemail

Just purchased a new iphone12 from apple (i'm a verizon subscriber). My voicemail app and past vm's haven't yet restored. First verizon rep said they can be but will take an hour, second verizon rep said new phones purchased from apple cannot preserve old vm's, and, the vm app will be work? Help please??

Old voicemail won't play or save I have some old saved voicemails that I want to access, but they won't play and I'm not able to save them. When I try to share or save them I get the following error message: "voicemail error unable to save voicemail try again later" I have voicemails from as long ago as 2013 that still play, but the main one I want back (a voicemail from my father who has since passed away) is only from 2018. Recover Voicemails on an old phone Hello, I got a new phone awhile back and when I transferred my data from my old phone to my new phone my voicemails did not come with it. I was wondering if there is a way to recover those voicemails even though it was about a year ago. I had voicemails from my dad on there who past a year ago and lately its really bothering me that I don't have them anymore.
