emergency bypass

I had turned on emergency bypass for a specific contact (text message severe weather alerts from our local news) during a tornado watch so I could hear if it turned into a tornado warning while I was sleeping. The next morning, I turned off emergency bypass for that contact since I no longer needed it to override my DND settings just to let me know that it was foggy out. However, after turning off emergency bypass for this contact, it STILL continued to override my DND and my silent mode. I then deleted the contact from my phone to see if that would help, and it’s still overriding DND and silent mode. Please help! I can’t have my phone overriding my settings for non life threatening weather situations.
