Recovery server damaged

Hello there,

Trying to find some help. Updated my Mac to Big sur. Wasn’t able to run it. Decided to reinstall it but couldn’t... my recovery server was damaged. What should I do? Can somebody recommend a good Apple service that works during covid?

Thanks y'all,

Joshua

I’ve tried to contact them but because of the lockdown all kinds of stores and services are closed.

I might have access to another Mac, yes!
How does that work? Can you explain, please?

Sierra? Not clear from above if that was your preferred OS... Seems way back there.

I do know if you can run Sierra you can run High Sierra, but you said Big Sur.......?

Did you call your local Apple store to see if they are open?

Do you have access to another Mac to download an installer?
