I have just brought a new watch and the face is upside down. Any ideas on how to switch it

apple watch series 5 the watch is working but don't show the selected face instead it has a very small dot in the center with a tiny smaller dot running around it but when you press the side buttons it shows the menus

Settings/general/orientation and change wrist left or right and digital crown left or right.
