Cannot connect my iPhone XR to iTunes (MacBook Pro 2020). Help needed!

My iPhone XR (IOS 14.4) is connected to to iTunes on my MacBook Pro (Big Sur 11.2.1) via Thunderbolt cable, but iTunes does not react in any way. What to do?

From your post we see you are having some trouble with your iPhone not being recognized by iTunes. We want to make sure you are able to connect those devices and are happy to help! Try using the steps listed here: If your computer doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod.
