the WeChat app Im using has freezed, while the cursor still function and assistive touch can be opened, some of the functions were unresponsive and could not open other apps. When I tried several time to force restart the unit but it would not do so. How should I resolve this problem?

Hi Kirk, thanks for the reply I have written to them (developer is Tencent) already but no reply yet.
Basically, the photo windows are the only things I can access but not really make use of. The first photo shows the frozen window of the app, swiping up don’t do anything.
But just in case, would anyone else here knows or have encountered a similar situation not just on this particular app? What’s really bugging me is, why It could not force restart?
And, since I could not do so, the only recourse I can think of is to just drain the battery to zero and charge it hoping somehow it resolves the issue. Thanks
