Activation Lock issues

I tried upgrading my IOS and for some reason it reset my phone. Now i cant sign in to my phone. The icloud account used has the same first letter of what I am used to but it just wont unlock and I am confused. it keeps giving me this message "The Apple ID ****** cannot be used to unlock this Iphone.


At this point I am befuddled and really upset. Please help.

If it's locked to a different Apple ID, sign in with that one or contact the person who can.

If it's locked to the one you're using, click here and contact Apple.
