Mac Calendar "Server responded with an error" message
The server responded with an error (screen shot below)
it is referencing my Gmail account

Okay here's how I fixed it, this assumes you have no On Your Mac calendars, so back those up ahead. Also backup any Mail account settings like extra email address aliases. Try this at your own risk.
After doing this, everything worked.
Like yesterday everything started working again after we passed 9AM here in Denmark (UTC+1). Not a Big Sur issue as I am on Catalina.
Now it's the next morning -- 8 a.m. MT (UTC -7) and my events have synced. We'll see if they disappear later like others are reporting.
I can report the same issue all the Gmail accounts go down at the same time every night. And they work in the morning again
In the morning it syncs. Evening to night it doesn't. Verified this after several days.
It happened again........

5pm Japan time it starts working
11am Japan time it stops working
Three days in a row observed
Same - error has come back now... was just a bit later today... dang. How do we get this escalated or the attention of someone - its so easy to repro and grab log files or whatever...

I firmly believe this is a bug. I too have been experiencing this issue for no reason. Please fix this Apple!
I just ran an update to my OS from
apple last night (26th Feb 2021) on the iMac and MacBook Air and I’ve still having issues with iCal and the four Google calendars I have connected. 😐
Evening PST hits, calendars Google Calendars die. Come on Apple. While this could very well be a Google issue, I bet you have their phone number. Solve this.
Adding my name to the long list. This is very frustrating. Tried all the tips in this 12 page forum. Still not working.
Ditto (From Japan, Running Catalina on 2015 Macbook Pro).
Seems to be offline for the same few hours each day.
Nothing in this link addresses the issue, is there a solution to this specific issue that works?
