Ft camera on macbook pro not working

My camera on ft on my MacBook Pro is not working even though it's working on other apps such as zoom. I can see my friends when I ft them but they can't see me and it says poor connection with a black screen on their end. It is working on my iPhone 12 pro but not on my MacBook Pro. I have tried calling multiple friends from different states and countries and still, nothing is working, it says poor connection no matter how close or far they are. How do I fix it? I've restarted my computer multiple times, all of my apps are up to date, and my MacBook Pro has the newest updated installed. Nothing is working, I’m not sure how to fix it.
