is there anyway I can figure out if there’s water in my battery without taking it apart

iPhone 11, iOS 14

There is not "water in your battery". If there were, it would be on fire...

There are several liquid contact indicators in the phone. Some of them are visible externally. Others are only visible when the phone is disassembled.


Do NOT attempt to do that yourself.

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store or take it to an authorized service provider. If the device has suffered liquid damage, it will have to be replaced. Liquid damage can not be repaired.
