Hello I just picked up and old Mac Mid 2011 running High Sierra . My main purpose was to run GarageBand on it.. When I try downloading it I can’t it states I need MacOS 11 or later..
if there a work around? What do I need to do to be able to get this program on this Mac??

Sorry, but the only Garageband available on the App Store requires Big Sur. If you had downloaded an earlier version it would be on your app store purchases page.

Did you previously own GarageBand on another Mac? If yes, and you previously installed it from the App Store, you should be able to download GarageBand again from the Purchases tab at the App Store. Is GarageBand showing in your previous purchases?
And anyway to update software to Big Sur from High Sierra ?
Probably not on a 2011 Mac.
