dock connector

my i phone keeps connecting with dock connector i dont know how i can turn that off but when it is connected there is no sounds coming from my iphone.

iPhone 11 Pro no sound with dock connector So is had an iPhone XS that I used to connect to an external receiver for workout. This was working fine till few weeks back. My son’s iPhone same as mine connects fine. I try to find out if some configuration is not allowing the sound to go through the lighting USB cable but I could not find anything. I even reset the iPhone and nothing. Well I just update my cell to an iPhone 11 Pro brand new and it does not work either. So I am guessing it inherit some sort of configuration problem. Any thoughts ?

How do I stop my phone from connecting to my car? Each time I plug in my phone to my car, audio doesn’t play. It says Dock Connector with a check. How do I stop my phone from connecting to the “Dock Connector”?

All the dock connectors I know of require you to put your device into it.
