Sync Documents Folder on 2 Macs

I have a MacBook Pro and a MacMini.

The software I use for work stores all my data in the documents folder.

Is it possible to keep the Documents folder synced on my two Macs........ The files need to be in the Documents folder, they can't be placed anywhere else.

I've been searching all over, I can't get clarification.

Yes, with iCloud.

When I tried, it seemed to have made a separate documents folder on my Mac mini...... I want to keep the documents folder sync'd on both devices
