Can't login and can't find my disk on Safe mode (Disk Utility, Reinstall macOS, etc)

My 2015 15.4 inch Macbook Pro is frozen after login. It displays a progress bar, but it never moves to my desktop screen after the progress bar is full. I've left it running overnight but the progress bar is just there and there was no change.

The problem seems to be that the disk cannot be found.

I tried Disk Utility and Reinstall macOS in MacOS Recovery mode, but whenever it prompts me to select a disk, there's no option.

On Disk Utility, macOS Base System is the only available disk image, and I can't partition, or erase it.

No Time Machine backups exist

On Reinstall macOS Catalina, it says Select the disk where you want to install macOS, but there's no option at all.

What's the issue? How can I fix this?

Without a Time Machine Backup guess there is not a Bootable Clone either - very exposed situation.

Has one attempt starting in Safe Mode ( Shift ) key immediately at startup without an external drives attached.

That or try rebooting and holding the Option key immediately at Startup and boot manager presents Macintosh HD - choose it

@ ericna12 wrote " My 2015 15.4 inch Macbook Pro is frozen after login " If one is logged in what way. Does the Drive has a Firmware Password ad that is what after login ? Very confusing.

Sine neither of the suggested functioned - it would be reasonable to believe something is corrupted and will require major attention like a Erase and Clean Install.

Please advise if one is prepared to perform and shall provide the method and means.
