How to read books bought on iTunes when you don't have an iDevice anymore

I've had an iPhone for years and bought quite a few books on iTunes, but when my phone broke and the new ones all had face ID (which I can't use because I sometimes wear a prosthetic eye and sometimes don't), I switched to Android. Now I have a TBR pile of about 200 books so it took a while to get to the ones I bought over iTunes. When I bought them, they were still included in the Windows computer iTunes application, so that one could download them to Calibre and read them there.

When I finally got round to read these books now, though, they wouldn't show up on the computer anymore - no books would. ITunes seems to have kicked books out for good?

But how can I read the books I purchased now? Is there an iBooks android app? Can I ask Apple to send me the files I bought? Is there any way to access them without owning a functional iDevice anymore?

Thanks for your time and help.
