iCloud backup incomplete

My iPhone is plugged in and locked, there is plenty of space in iCloud, but the back up will not advance. What are some likely possibilities of what is wrong?

What’s app back up Hi my what’s app back up is stuck on preparing for a week now. I have checked the iCloud and storage space, toggled the what’s app on iCloud off then on again, reset network settings etc but nothing works. I have more than enough space left too as I’m on 200gb
