How to retrieve my Apple ID

Hi, I would like to know how to retrieve my Apple ID in my iPad mini. My daughter used a stranger account “aka”One of her internet best friends. She downloaded something then the Apple ID of the stranger keeps on appearing.

You are welcome. If you are the original owner, contact Apple. Apple can remove the ID  if provided the required paperwork. Either take the device, the original purchase receipt with the serial number, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store (if it has reopened)

You need to have your daughter remove the account she added to your iPad.

Where are you seeing the strangers Apple ID? Check the App Store and iTunes Store to see if there are any updates for apps/purchases. A request for another Apple ID password is often caused by updates to apps/purchases that were made when using the other ID. Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.

Hi Eric,

Thanks for your reply. My daughter can’t remove the Apple ID. She can’t remember the password or maybe the owner changed it already. She can’t even contact the stranger friend that she had and the stranger didn’t reply to her messages. It means that the stranger do not want to cooperate. Regarding purchases I don’t see any update purchases in my IPad. It gets me irritated everytime I see his Apple ID in my IPad.

Hi Eric,

What if I don't know where the receipt already. We are currently residing here in the Pennsylvania, USA. the iPad mini was bought in between 2016-2018, I can't remember the exact year it was bought in Singapore by my husband's brother. He gave us the receipt but it was lost because it was a long a time ago. What else can I do to remove someone's appleID in my iPad? Thanks in advance.
