My iphone 7 will not turn on. I have had it on the charger. I tried to do a hard reset. The battery is the only thing that shows up

Check the charging port for lint or other debris and see this:
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won‘t charge
Also see:
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won‘t turn on or is frozen
