High CPU usage of xcodebuild and IDECacheDeleteAppExtension after Big Sur upgrade
Hi all,
I upgraded to Big Sur v11.2 a few days ago, and Xcode command line tools popped up an upgrade, which I installed as well. The current Xcode version is 11.1 Build version 11A1027.
However, I have been unable to use my computer. There are 3 instances of `xcodebuild`, a `filebeat` and a `IDECacheDeleteAppExtension` running since the system starts. I have no idea what they are doing. They would eventually cause the system to force shut down in about 1-2 hours. I couldn't kill those processes, and when I do, the system would freeze. For example, if I kill them in Activity Monitor, AM would freeze, force quit, and cannot be opened again until I reboot. The same thing is I try to kill the processes in Terminal.
Meanwhile, everything is very slow on my machine. Tried first aid on the disk but no issue was found. Any suggestions?
