I just changed me apple passcode on the icloud due to being locked out of my refurbished ipad mini, it still is not letting me signin.

it locked me out for 24 hours yesterday and I don't want it loc

ked up permanently.

Is the passcode the password I entered twice yesterday while setting this up or something else?
