iPad screen less responsive after cleaning.

I have been using microfibre clothes for cleaning my iPad screen, and sometimes I will make a corner of the cloth damp before wiping the iPad. When the screen is clean it’s very difficult to use. It loses half its responsiveness. I have to wet my finger in order for the screen to work properly. It’s very frustrating that the sensitivity is so poor. I have the 2019 iPad Air. My 6th gen was way better than this.
