My iPhone 12 Pro Max is not detected on my Windows 10 PC if a use a USB-C cable

My iPhone 12 Pro Max is not detected on my AMD Ryzen 9 3900X PC using Windows 10 Pro, version 20H2, if I connect it with a USB-C cable. It charges the battery but is not recognized. It does not appear in Settings/ Bluetooth & other devices, nor the file explorer. Of course, it is not recognized by iTunes either.

But, it is detected if I connect it with a USB Type-A cable.

How can I fix this?
