iphone optimized storage and iDiskk

The iDiskk is a memory stick that lets you transfer photos from your phone to your PC. It just occurred to me that since I have used the optimized storage option, maybe the photos I'm taking off my phone are the abbreviated versions and not the best versions for saving. Does anyone know if I've copied a lot of low-quality images?

Thanks so much. Yes, what you describe is what I used up until I purchased iDiskk. I had a lot of photos I wanted to move onto my PC, filing them in folders as I went. I didn't want a complete disorganized download. It was a slow process going through the photos on icloud and downloading them one at a time. In theory you can download more than one at a time, but they come in as a zip file, which requires another step to process them. The iDiskk lets you put a large group of photos from your phone into a folder on your computer, and then you can drag them into other folders to file them.
