Is my iMac12,2 obsolete?
I have an iMac12,2, and I am not receiving software upgrade notifications. Is it obsolete? My latest upgrade was macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.6.

Hi dandi-gal,
Yes, it is obsolete. High Sierra Version 10.13.6 was the last update for it.
Cheers,
Jack
High Sierra is the latest version of macOS you can run.
Technically it is obsolete, but as long as it works for you…
No. You can stay connected. Just use caution when browsing. For added security, you can get Malwarebytes for Mac: https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/. Also, you can enable the Firewall: Use a firewall to prevent unwanted connections on Mac - Apple Support.
Cheers,
Jack
What about security? Should I disconnect it from the internet?
No need.
Okay. Thank you!
Great! I have both of those now. Thank you for your help!
You're welcome.
