Trying to use whatsapp via siri and het response “sorry, there is a problem with the app”. Same goed when using carplay

Any idea what is the problem? “Sorry, there is a problem with the app” when trying to use Whatsapp via Siri

Thanks for the update. What versions of iOS and WhatsApp are you running? It appears that you need iOS 10.3 or above and WhatsApp 2.17.2 or later.


To find the WhatsApp version, open the app, tap the Settings icon in the bottom right and select Help. At the top of the next page, you should see the build number.


You also have to have the Hey Siri feature enabled. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Siri and make sure the "Allow Hey Siri" option is turned on.


Another setting to check is that WhatsApp has permission to talk to Siri. Go to Settings > Siri > App Support and turn it on for WhatsApp.
