Do you remember the Apple ID and password used in old iPhone , only icloud data if the iCloud features were turned as on Turn iCloud features on or off - Apple Support

Will sync in new device it could be new iPhone / Mac when new iPhone is set up Set up your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
