Toetsenbord verdwenen in sommige apps

Thank you all for your support, it is finally solved.

I've been on the pone with apple support for almost 2 hours, searching for the problem step by step.

That was great because now finally someone could see what I meant by going in my iPhone from a distance.

Never knew that was a possibility, because I've never had an issue with iPhone before..

But finally we checked al the apps I've installed true the years, and it appeared to be a app from fit pro (brainz watch) that was blocking my keyboard and other settings on my phone connecting true my bluetooth. I've installed the app at the beginning of januari this year and that's when it all started, never thought an app could do this though.. So it never crossed my mind it could be the watch and app. I deleted it from my iPhone and also contacted the company that sold me the watch in case there are more people with the same problem. Thank you al so much for your tips and tricks, it's great that there is a community with people who want to help you and have al this extra information.

Take care,

Maria

MariaR1980,

Thanks for getting back to us and for providing that information. Did you restore your iPhone by using a computer or by going to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings? If your iPhone was restored to factory settings by using a computer and you restored a recent backup of your data, then it sounds like by restoring the backup it's recreating the issue you're experiencing with the keyboard not appearing in your apps.

To help overcome this issue, we recommend to restore your iPhone to factory settings by using a computer. This time around, you would not restore your backup but instead manually sync your data back to your iPhone. Here's how to proceed:

1. Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings

2. Set up your iPhone following the steps here: Set up your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

*** For step 5 - “Apps & Data" select: "Don't Transfer Apps & Data."

3. After completing the setup, you can manually sync your data that's stored from iCloud to your iPhone: Set up iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

4. To add a third party email account, you can follow these steps: Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

5. If you'd like to redownload your apps or purchased content, these two articles will help: Redownload music and Redownload apps and games from Apple

From there, please let us know if you continue to experience the same behavior.

Cheers!

Wel I even made new Apple ID and that also doesn't fix the problem. I thought it would but then, this morning the same problem started al over again. Also in my new Apple ID my keyboard disappeared after installing my apps.

So got my phone back in factory settings with the new software installed, I made a new appleID and downloaded al the apps, never used my back up so that can't also be the problem...

What could it be then??

Thanks for your advice.

But I cannot do the update unfortunately because my keyboard is dissapeard and there is no way I can put in my code for the update :(

This is my problem:

Since a couple of months my iPhone 11 is having some serious issues with my keyboard disappearing.

So now I cannot put in codes anymore if required with some apps. I can also not type a new e-mail, or notition, I can't even do an update on my iPhone because that also needs my code, and I cannot put it in because the keyboard is not appearing. I already had my iPhone fixed twice now because they thought it was a software problem but the problem keeps coming back right after I put back my backup and logged in on my AppleID. I already did a reset and a hard reset and even back to fabric, and nothing works.

Hi Melissa thank you so much for your tips, I tried everything but unfortunately it doesn't help.

Got my phone back this morning and followed al your steps, half way true redownloading my apps the problem appeared again, my keyboard is gone and I cannot put in any codes anymore :(

I really don't know what to do anymore... I think the problem is in my Apple ID? Is that a possibility?

Anyone?
