Apple CarPlay device not registered

I am able to connect my phone to CarPlay and it works fine. However, I keep getting pop ups continually asking to allow CarPlay on my device. Once I go to setting it says my device isn’t registered and I’m not really sure how to fix this problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you are receiving CarPlay popups after CarPlay is already connected to your iPhone. We understand how important this is to you and we are here to help.


Even though this may not be the same alert, the cause may be similar to what is outlined here: If you see an ‘Accessory may not be supported’ alert


Let's verify the connector is clean and test with an alternate cable to see if the same thing happens.


If the issue persists, can you verify your iPhone type and iOS version? Also, when did you first notice this?
