Apple Pay opening when near another phone

I have two phones in my pocket, one for work and one for personal use. My personal phone keeps opening apple pay without me double clicking. Really annoying. Anyone else having this problem? Need to be able to turn this off! Both are iPhones (work phone does not have apple pay, so that's why it can't open on that phone).

Apple Pay opens without prompting on iPhone 12 Why does Apple Pay open on my (work) iPhone 12 when it's next to my other (personal) iPhone 12? Specifically, the work iPhone only opens Apply pay when my personal iPhone 12 is on top of it. No side button is pressed and no Face ID opens the phone. There is, however, a magnet in the case of my personal iPhone which is used to dock it on my car dashboard when driving. Could that be activating my Apple pay function of my work iPhone? This was never an issue when I had an iPhone 7 for personal and work phones.
