This Apple ID has not yet been used in the iTunes Store

I have a new iPad and when I try to download my first app from the App Store, it says 'This Apple ID has not yet been used in the iTunes Store' and 'Tap Review to sign in, then review your account information.'


When I click 'Review' it asks me to login again, so I do, and then shows the same 'This Apple ID has ...' message, and just stays in this loop. I have entered my credit card details in payment information in appleid.apple.com and ensured all my details are entered.


Anyone know how to get past this message on a new iPad?

I’m having the same issue. Tried restarting, don’t have a laptop to sign in with. Stuck with a paperweight right now that can’t even use gmail


seems like a silly bug for a company this big. They should probably test their product before they put it up for sale
