How can I restore iphone X when touchscreen will not respond?

I have restarted several times but screen still does not respond to touch. I cannot connect to iTunes because I cannot enter my passcode. Any ideas on how to restore?

Put it in Recovery Mode.

1) Connect to PC or Mac

2) Quickly press Volume Up, Quickly press Volume Down, and then hold down the Power Button until reboot and a black screen appears, with computer and cable icon.

Then you can do a restore in iTunes, without pressing code.
