Still do not know what software you are asking about. Why don't you just provide details and context here? The thread you referred to is a three year old discussion.
Or, go to the software developer's site and ask if they have a version that runs on Big Sur and your computer model/year.

I am trying to do Parallel Computing using a cluster of Mac Pros will Parallel OperatiOn and Control Heuristic Application Version 1.8.3 work on Big Sur if not do you recommend any other alternative that you may know about?

Big Sur will only run 64 bit apps. Is the app you are asking about 64 bit? Why not just ask the developer of the app?
