delete a software update without installing

Got a notification about a software update on my iMac. However, the update applies to MacBook Pro Models; I have an iMac! How do I delete this update notification without installing it (and taking up storage space) since it doesn't apply to my iMac? And why am I getting an update like this anyway? My OS is Big Sur 11.2

iMac 21.5″, macOS 11.2

This is what the notification for the update said (weird way to describe the update, then!):

"macOS Big Sur 11.2.1 addresses an issue that may prevent the battery from charging in some 2016 and 2017 MacBook Pro models.

Some features may not be available for all regions, or on all Apple devices.
