While installing a new 2019 MacBook Pro, should one use a different Administrator Password from my other 2012 MacBook pro and iPhone 7 still in use that will share the same Apple ID to prevent hacking ?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.12

Each Mac computer, when initially set up, will attempt to create a user account with Administrator privileges. It would be a good idea to use separate passwords for each of these. Regardless, if you plan on using the same Apple ID on each device ... which is typical anyways. In addition, you should create a second, non-administrator account, and use that to log in with.

Will you be planning on migrating your data from the 2012 MBP to this newer model?
