How To Put One Video On The Green Screen Space Of Another

Hello there.

I want to make a video where fans are cheering at something on a screen. I want to use this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMte1KjRKt4&ab_channel=TEMPLATETMbyAJS

However, I want to put a different video (a clip from a film) into the green screen section, so it looks like all the fans are cheering at something that happens in the film.

Is this possible? Is there any way to make sure the inserted footage matches the green screen section and doesn't move around?

If anyone knows how to do this, I would appreciate tips and advice, bearing in mind that I am useless at this sort of stuff.

Thanks in advance!

You can easily overlay the video containing the green screen portion. Put it above the main video and use the Green Screen feature. The underlying video will show through the green part of the overlaying video. However, I don't know any way with iMovie to insure that the underlying video will stay within the confines of the green screen portion of a video that is moving on the screen. When you overlay a green screen the green part gets eliminated so that the underlying video shows through. But if the green part is shifting position, as in your situation, then the portion of the underlying video that shows through will be changing.
